Enhancing MyDesmond: Can you help?

  • Do you work with people with Type 2 Diabetes from South Asian or Black ethnic minority communities?

  • Do you commission or provide services that support people with Type 2 Diabetes?

  • Do you support, refer or promote people with Type 2 Diabetes to use digital material?

We are looking for commissioners, charities, volunteer groups and community leaders. We want to find out how we can improve digital support for people from South Asian and Black communities to self-manage their type 2 diabetes. 

We aim to run quarterly meetings to discuss how we can enhance the digital offering, make it culturally appropriate and how we can implement it for South Asian, Black African and Caribbean communities.

Each session will last approximately between 1-2 hours and will be a mix of virtual and face-to-face meetings. 

Payment will be provided, such as reimbursement of travel costs or time, where applicable.
