The Leicester Diabetes Centre has a questionnaire study trying to provide an insight into how patients learn about their health conditions and how this has changed during COVID-19.

If you have Type 2 Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease or have had a Stroke, we would like to hear what you have to say.

Leicester is a multi-ethnic, diverse, multi-faith community. It is really important that we know how this diversity relates to lifestyle choice, self-management of health conditions and how this has changed during COVID-19. The Leicester Diabetes Centre questionnaire study will try to answer these questions and you can help us with your unique perspective.

This is a study about ways that patients learn about their health. We are particularly interested in cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. There are a number of ways in which patients may improve their knowledge and skills to manage their health conditions, we are interested in finding out how they do this.

This information could help us understand how people want their health information to be delivered, for example face to face, leaflets, internet or via the telephone, and what factors affect their preferences. Understanding this may help healthcare providers ensure that the information they provide is given in the most useful ways and improve the experience of people with long-term conditions.

Do you have six minutes spare and would like to have your say?
