Vicki Johnson
Lead Research Associate for Complex Interventions
As the Lead Research Associate for Complex Interventions, Vicki leads the IMPACT team and develops, trains, evaluates and supports many research, innovative and implementation projects.
Part of the work within the IMPACT team involves different teams coming together to achieve the objective, for example: patients, healthcare professionals, experts, and other teams within and outside of LDC, which Vicki finds both exciting and rewarding.
Vicki has a background in physiotherapy, and has always had a strong interest in long-term conditions and research. Working to support people to achieve their goal(s) and self-manage their long-term condition(s), such as diabetes, is one of the most rewarding parts of Vicki’s job.
Vicki enjoys the variety and challenges the role brings, but most importantly, thrives on making a difference and seeing patients’ results.
